By taking part in the Sleeping Ruff for Strays challenge during October you’re are not only supporting the 8 Below Husky Rescue Team, but you are also making a real difference in the lives of dogs in need.
Many dogs who come into the care of 8 Below Husky Rescue have found themselves experiencing the harsh reality of sleeping rough on the streets before being picked up by the council warden to serve their statutory 7 days in council pounds before the high risk of euthanasia.
This is where 8 Below Husky Rescue play a vital part in offering a safe rescue space to these dogs by giving a warm bed, food and enrichment along with any veterinary care needed whilst helping find their forever homes 🏡

Your dedication and commitment will inspire others to join this annual event, ensuring that the plight of stray dogs in the country doesnt go unnoticed and more dogs receive the care and love they deserve 🧡
Don’t forget to capture the special moments of your sleep out and share them with us in our Facebook Group – we will be awarding a special prize to the best sleep out photo, so get creative!
