In 2018, Darwin and Sky came into our care as youngsters who needed our help. They found their forever home and have grown older together, now aged 10 and 11.

Unfortunately, their owner feels they no longer have time to give them the life they deserve, so they are in need of a new family. All dogs adopted from 8 Below Husky Rescue come with a lifetime commitment of rescue back up, While we hope that this won’t ever be necessary, situations like this highlight the importance of RBU and the safeguarding of our adopted dogs throughout their lives.

We would like to reintroduce the lovable but still spirited Darwin and the sweet, pocket rocket Sky. They are a bonded pair and have always been together, so it’s only right that they stay together.

Both dogs are house trained; Sky enjoys roaming freely around the house while Darwin prefers the comfort of his crate and will willingly settle in there for the night. Sky is friendly with all dogs, though Darwin can be a bit choosy—he doesn’t get along with male dogs but is generally okay with females, albeit a tad grumpy at first. Both are wonderfully child-friendly and very sociable.

Darwin is a big, cuddly boy who thrives on attention, while Sky enjoys being groomed and has a more independent streak. Darwin has a playful, clownish spirit, always ready for fun!
